Perfect location for a Lake District holiday. The accommodation was well equipped and clean and the owner had thought of everything. The outside space was perfect to relax in after a busy day. Walking distance from the beach.

"Our week away"

8.0

The cottage was close to the sea and beach. The beach seems to go for miles, and no one to share it.The heating is by electric radiators, and when they were turned off, the house got cold quickly. We were always aware of the cost to heat the house even tho' we were not liable to any additional costs.

Our only problem was the staircase, which is quite steep.

"Cosy coastal cottage"

8.0

Great location, nice and quiet, lovely neighbours, and the cows right outside the living room window were a delight . Nice walk to the beach, which we had to ourselves. Nice to have a washing machine. Had everything we needed.

Oven not the best, an air fryer would've been good. Didn't expect to need to use the heating in the middle of June, which took a while to get the 1 room warm. Tea, coffee and sugar could do with being checked and renewed (bought our own from the co-op in Seascale). Toaster had a burnt poptart stuck in the bottom of it, and lots of crumbs, should be checked and emptied/cleaned after every stay. (Fire risk). Hoover needed emptying and doesn't really do a very good job. Emails all stated check in from 4pm, arrived at 3.50pm to a man cleaning who said check in was at 5pm, give him half an hour.

The beach is a few minutes walk away. The Dog loved it. Ideal base so you can venture into the western lakes

"Just a few tweaks but on the whole enjoyable."

8.0

The property was cosy and the beds were very comfortable after a day of walking around the beautiful Lake District. The kitchen was suitably equipped for self catering stay.

The bathroom although very modern has an incredibly slippery shower tray that I had a fall in, whilst moving away from the shower that constantly goes from scalding to freezing. A non stick tray is very much needed as well as a less indecisive shower. Having taken dogs wanted to mop kitchen floor. Mop on bucket in cupboard soaking and damp so smelt. The garden was overgrown so we could not sit out and patio leading up to house also needed a tidy up.

"Good location to Seascale, nicely kept welcoming cottage."

9.0

Location was good, not far drive to Seascale, lovely beach in seascale. Cottage was well kept and tidy. Good size bathroom and comfy bed!

The only suggestion would be a shower mat in the shower as a bit slippy for my young son.
