Spacious Capitol Hill 2 Bedroom Apartment with Free Parking

Convenience to the Capitol. You can walk about 20 minutes to the Capitol. Good location, nice charming location.

Everything. It was a beautiful apartment with everything well equipped. A truly home away from home.

It’s not bad but would be better with better lighting in particular in the kitchen area

Great accomodation- felt like locals and enjoyed the neighbourhood. Walked most place but bus and train within 500m

Little surprised with the side access walkway past our apartment for all tenants. Then realised that’s how it is when living in these beautiful character 3 storey town houses! Felt safe and very supportive and responsive host.

Very comfortable and accommodating! I thought a friend may come with me, but ended up with the apartment to myself. It was a very comfortable little home base to have while traveling. The house has beautiful, original features that are highlighted by the decor in a really cute way.

I had no complaints! I probably would have booked a 1bed if I had known I would be solo traveling, but I would stay here again with no hesitation.

- the victorian-style, historic building (170+ years) itself - the safe, quiet and clean neighborhood (Capitol Hill district) - the closeness to supermarkets, metro station, restaurants, pharmacies etc - the well-equipped kitchen with a great fridge/freezer/ ice machine - the spacious bedrooms with nice duvets and pillows - the bathroom had a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and enough towels - the cozy living room with a fireplace

There was nothing that we didn’t like. Being picky, however, here are some ideas to do even better than you do already: You might want to: - add a couple of electricity adaptors - supply a blender in the kitchen - facilitate a free access to the washing machine - fix the entrance door that is hard to close and to lock - place a sign for the 2 steps going down from kitchen to the hallway - make available the manuals of the electrical devices (oven, fridge, microwave) - we didn’t need it but add an iron and an iron board (or we didn’t see it!)

Location was great. Short walk to metro and places to eat and shopping. Apartment was roomy. Host was nice and responsive. Kitchen utensils were well supplied. Liked the large refrigerator with ice and water. Generally clean for an older building.

Apartment had no privacy in kitchen, anyone passing the clear door could look in. Should preferably be a different type of door or long curtains. The portable Air conditioning unit had some problems with water leaking on arrival, but host took care of this relatively quickly. The portable Air conditioning units in bedrooms was rather loud, difficult to sleep from noise, but at least it kept us cool during the high heat. There was sort of an old building odor when we first arrived, but I guess we got used to it after awhile. Was billed over 300 dollars for damages. My wife's hair color was absorbed into a towel and a pillow cover. Our apologies for that, otherwise, we left the place nearly immaculate. We think this cost is excessive. We will try to negotiate with the host.
