Very well presented with fabulous products in the bathrooms. Plenty of towels both for the house and the beach.

Pillows abit hard for us all so a second soft pillow option would have been good. There were dozens of big bluebottles in the windows when we arrived especially the bedrooms. Took some effort to kill them all and keep onto of them first couple of days. Probably lava that got trapped as immaculately clean. We managed the parking successfully thanks to the tips and advise provided. The grandchildren were blown away and the 3 years old kept saying my lovely house

there are not enough words to say how amazing this place was… the beds so comfy and every little thing needed for a comfortable stay was available .. so impressed such a beautiful house with so much character.. 10 out of 10 would deffo stay again !! amazing

HGH is perfectly situated in Scarborough, in the footsteps of South Bay Beach that has all the activities we could want for our busy family. House is so comfortable and had all we needed to relax and spend some quality family time together. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable from the start. All essentials are covered and had just what we needed to cook and enjoy time at the beautiful and historic house. It was so nice to see the welcome basket in the kitchen when we arrived, and the bottle of wine hit the spot at the end of our fun-filled first night. We had fa couple of questions that were answered quickly, and we settled in just as quickly. Stay ways great, house was wonderful, and owners really made us feel welcome. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Great location, view and very quiet.

No cushions on the table benches, making it reasonable uncomfortable to sit on for long. The stairs were too winding for us - if any of the party have limited mobility then this is not the property for you. There were some basics missing from the property that I would have expected. Having spoken to the owner however, these are in the pipeline for future guests.
