It was such a pleasure to stay here! The hosts are very kind and welcoming. It is a traditional Japanese house. The bed/mattress is more comfortable than most futons I've had in the past. You basically get the second floor to yourself, including a bedroom, a room to relax and a room where they serve you breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it is delicious. Freshly made each morning especially for you! The location is also great. Less than 5 minutes from Yubatake and within 10 minutes from most onsen.

Like most traditional Japanese homes, it is heated by kerosene heaters in winter. Some can be sensitive to them. It was okay for me when I turned them off and kept the window slightly open when I went to bed. Other than this, no complaints at all!

Owner is extremely welcoming. Very pleasant to stay in the clean rooms. Breakfast is simply exceptional with a lot of attentions put into it.

Everything was great, from the room to the host ! There are 2 beautiful bedrooms, 1 very nice living room and 1 charming dinning room. And all that just for you !! The host were the most friendly and nice i ever met. And the breakfast prepared by Shinobu was delicious ! This ryokan was amazing

Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Having breakfast at 8 a.m. each morning made us feel like we were part of the family for two days. The location was perfect too — just a 4–5 minute walk to two of the most famous hot springs in Kusatsu. This stay made our trip even more wonderful.

Super hôtes, les petit-déjeuners bien équilibrés, lit confortable, salle de repos assez grand avec une TV à disposition ! Près de toutes les activités et de la gare !
