3-Bed House Near Lakeside Mall, Onsite Parking

The property was nice and spacious with decent sized bedrooms and large living area. Check in was easy. The host provided us with a video on how to work the smart key lock. There was a massive couch in the lounge and the wifi was good. There was sufficient parking for our car.

The house needs a good cleaning. There walls and doors were dirty and the plates in the cupboard hadn't been washed properly. They were actually stuck together! The knives, forks, cups and glasses were also not very clean. The inside of the oven was gross and the oven pan filthy. This property has great potential, but they need to improve on the hygiene.

The property is located on a quiet street and spacious. Also, it’s easily accessible from the main roads.

There was no iron to enable us straighten our clothes. Also, we temporarily misplaced the key to the property while putting our luggage in the car prelude to our checking out. We were charged £150 the key after much haggling from the initial £300. The £150 was the charge or fee for the services of a supposed Locksmith who turned out to be the property contact. He didn’t come with any tools but took the side gate and was able to gain access into the rooms and opened the door from the inside. We later found the key after transferring £150 to the property owner. The rational decision would have been to return our money since there was no forced entry or damage to any lock. Alternatively, a 50% refund is justifiable. I felt like I was ripped off.

A few odd jobs needed doing . Window in back room was broken and would not close and bannister wobbly.

We found the house comfortable. Neighbors were nice and helpful, recommended great fish and chips delivered. We found the house warm and loved. Nice place to park. Quiet.

Could have used a few more chairs to eat at table. Could have used some towels in the kitchen.
