The area was rough, and neighbours, wasn’t very clean
GBGBGBHandy location for being in Inverness and accessing the surrounding areas. The property was ok, bed very comfortable and plenty of hot water in the shower. A few small issues that if fixed would make it a good property to stay in.
Water pressure in the kitchen for the hot water is non existent and the water goes from powerful cold water to a trickle of scalding hot water. There was no plug or bowl in the sink so washing up was difficult. The knifes in the property were so blunt they were useless for a self catering accommodation. The dining table chairs are very uncomfortable too. The front door had a single lock and didn't feel very secure. And when it rained, the water from the gutter above the front door ran all night and when you opened the front door to exit, it was like a waterfall that you had to dodge.
GBLocation was quiet and it was easy to access the property. The property was clean and a reasonable range of facilities provided. It was fine for a short stay on a budget.
There was a strong smell of smoke from within the property. Unsure if this was from an adjoining property or a previous guest. The appearance of the property itself was pretty tired. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the shower head holder was broken.
