Quirky, cosy and away from the chaos of life.

A lovely hut, very comfortable, cosy place to experience the off grid. Great to be able to unwind, hosts were friendly and helpful. Welcome pack was brilliant, a first to come across ground coffee! Hope to come back again.

Our Shepherds hut was so cosy! 🛖 kindling & wood provided we didn’t need to bring tea, coffee, milk eggs etc 🤩 if only we’d knew :) there was olive oil too. All the basics provided, really clean, friendly helpful hosts. A rainy weekend here was great. It’s so green because it’s rarely stopped raining 🌧️ Great location, a teeny village close to Holsworthy. Dog friendly with fields to explore Winston in his element.

There was just one thing that made it a little tricky for my husband who’s disabled to navigate the steps upto the hut, there isn’t a hand rail. Perfectly fine for me though. We would have loved just one secure space for our dog to run off-lead safe from the road. Although it was very quiet he still managed to stray under the metal gate and onto it, so had to keep him on a leash, but that’s down to us rather than the location. Such a pretty spot.

The hut was easy to find, clean and cosy. I was left some fresh eggs and hot chocolate to enjoy, which I did. (Thank you) It was so quiet and tranquil. This was my first solo trip, and I was worried I was going to struggle but I felt perfectly safe and slept like a log! The shower was lovely too!

Comfy bed, great shower with good pressure. The host had thought of everything! It came with loads of utensils for cooking, games for cosy nights in etc.
