Duck Cottage - Cosy Cottage - Central Location

Really enjoyed our stay at duck cottage and would highly recommend, great location and very clean and comfortable.would definitely visit again.

No complaints at all.

The cozy, homely feel and plenty of space for a family of four, tea coffee and milk was very nice on arrival. Great sized bedrooms. Easy parking and great location. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch. Great view over the train station so you can watch the steam trains go past.

Small towels and the bathroom could do with a bit of re grouting.but nothing major at all

It was a lovely cottage- just a short walk up to Main Street (a bit of a steep climb) and I would definitely recommend it!

Nothing - it was great

When we arrived at the property after travelling over two hours the cottage was double booked. There was a group of males already inside the property. I could not make contact with the owner for over an hour. There was no other alternative hotels for myself and my friend to stay in in Howarth leaving us with no other accommodation. I had my requested check in time confirmed on Wednesday before my arrival on Saturday but yet it was still never noticed by the host that the property was double booked. Very disappointing.
