Duck Cottage - Cosy Cottage - Central Location

Everything. Lovely cottage / apartment. (Hidden behind Weaver cottage up the cobbled road) Full kitchen, washer, dryer, iron, fridge , freezer, kettle, cups, glasses, etc provided. Tea, coffee, towels, washing up liquid, and shower gel provided, too. 2 comfy sofas, TV, table chairs, and one flight of wooden stairs leading up to 3 bedrooms and the bathroom (shower over a bath). Comfy beds and good shower. We all loved it. Steam train station is just down the ramp approx 3 mins walk away, and approx 6 min walk along the cobbled road to the main street in Haworth or 9 mins walking through the park. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Haworth. Parking is also very easy around here.

There are shops & cafes nearby and a lovely little cafe at the bottom of the cobbles right beside where the steam train passes. Serves lovely coffee and great food.

We got confused as there is a front and a back entrance to the cottage, but the Key lock box is at the front entrance as only this entrance is used. Unfortunately we arrived late in the dark and had to call Karen. Only mentioning this as in the dark it’s harder to get your bearings and the sat nav did take us to the bottom of the cobbles right beside the property so perhaps this is only a night time thing 😊

Clean, well equipped, surprisingly spacious cottage in the heart of Haworth. Communication with the hosts was very good. There is free parking right outside the property. The WiFi was good.

Beds were quite soft. Single glazed windows and thin curtains mean the master bedroom gets light early and enjoys the full benefit of the dawn chorus.

Location was good and a sweet cottage. Parking was available and easy too.

Couldn't find the heating thermostat, so the cottage was freezing, not great in January. The door key doesn't really work very well as the lock is old. Front door doesn't feel very secure.
