The Barn House - Swimming Pond,Jacuzzi,Chicks!

La posizione è incantevole, immersa nel verde su un crinale con vista sulla splendida campagna inglese e sul campo di battaglia della famosa battaglia di Hastings. Il laghetto è idilliaco e l’atmosfera veramente rilassante. La sala giochi è ben fornita di tanti giochi per occupare il tempo in caso di pioggia o per belle serate fra amici. La cosa più divertente e sorprendente è poter dare da mangiare alle galline e usufruire delle buonissime uova! La casa è accessibile senza dover far nessuno scalino ed è arredata in modo perfetto con ottimo gusto. Un paradiso di relax!

The Barn was the perfect place for a small family get together. It was comfortable and cozy and had everything we could need to keep the adults and teenagers happy. The surrounding property and views are beautiful. We all loved it so much we didn't want to leave. Would definitely book again. Thank you for sharing your special place with us.

If ever there was a property which rated 15 out of 10 this is it. This was easily the best family accommodation we have ever stayed at using booking.com. Situated 2 miles from the small town of Battle we found it well located to tour East Sussex and the coast. The grounds are huge and we were greeted by the owner who took us on a tour of the facility. The barn has been carefully restored and is at the back of the property and very private. The Barn itself is large and easily housed the 5 of us and would sleep more. The living area is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could ever need. The bedrooms are likewise spacious and comfortable. There is a games room with Pool Table, Table Tennis table and Air Hockey/ In door cinema. There is a large grassy area at the back with football goals and plenty of space to play. A swing chair and plenty of seating are located outside with wonderful views of the countryside and Battle. There is a BBQ if needed. At the front is a swimming pond but be careful it is very cold but also very refreshing. We used the Jacuzzi several times and towels are provided for both. You are encouraged to feed the chickens and can take any fresh eggs for yourself. The area has little light pollution and we spent most nights watching the stars. Amazing. During our stay we visited Battle and the Abbey, Rye, Albiston, Cuckmere Haven all of which were within max 30 mins drive. Do yourself a favour, if your visiting this area treat yourself to a stay here...you won't regret it.

Dog friendly but host requested our dog didn't go in the bedrooms. Although minor, this was difficult to manage.

The photos don't even do it justice. Picturesque, spacious, private, fun, cozy, clean. It's an incredible place with everything you could possibly need to have fun and unwind. Plenty to keep children entertained too, as well as the inner child in all of us! We particularly enjoyed making friends with the chickens.

Honestly no complaints at all. If there was a sauna to use before jumping into the pond that would take it off the scale!

I have been using booking .com for three years now and stayed at many places, but The Barn House will definitely take some beating. The Barn House had all the amenities on site that made our break affordable, as well as all ages of our party entertained. Our time away brought us together as a family again ❤️, with no mobile phones just good old-fashioned talking, playing games, going for hikes, cooking together, and paddle boarding on the pool. A big thank you to James and his family for letting us share their home grounds. The veiws were amazing, and the ambience was tranquil. We will definitely be returning 🫶

A faultless stay we all thoroughly enjoyed - this one will be hard to beat. The beautiful, well equipped barn was perfect for us and had everything we needed. The swimming pond we all enjoyed a dip in, great hot tub and games room, fresh eggs from the chickens, stunning views from the BBQ area and such a lovely huge garden for all to enjoy. Walks from the doorstep. Host very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Would absolutely recommend.
