Luxurious & spacious 4BR apt next to Cathedral

El pésimo mantenimiento, baños pequeños, sumideros que no tragaban y que salía el agua por la puerta del baño. Todo el suelo estaba sucio, nidos de arañas en el cuarto de la lavadora, cucarachas en la ventana y la cocina. La ropa de cama escasa y las toallas no había para todos los huéspedes que avisamos que estarían. Las puertas estaban hinchadas del agua que sale de la ducha, el baño grande no se podía abrir la puerta entera porque estaba así.

Great location in the heart of the city center, but hard to access by car. Some taxis refused to go the front door because of the old and narrow streets.

The property manager was very attentive before we arrived, but once we were there she never responded. Our stay included use of the sofa bed for two of our guests. There was bedding and towels, but no sleeping pillows. We had to cover sofa pillows that were not comfortable. We messaged about this immediately and never got a response or the pillows.

When I booked this property, there were only 2 prior reviews without comments, and these rated the property as very favorable ( higher than 9 average). This property was listed as a new property on booking.com so I attributed the lack of reviews to the newness of the listing. Our experience was not favorable at all and was not consistent with the excellent rating given by the 2 prior reviews. Therefore, I wish to be vey specific in my comments to help future travelers. First, the positive: The location is very good and central to the main attractions and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to see. There are 2 main bedrooms ( which can accommodate 4 people)and 2 very tiny sleeping spaces ( 1 single bed in each). These sleeping spaces were nice in that they offered some privacy to 2 member of our family but I wouldn’t go so far as calling them bedrooms. The kitchenette is very clean and well designed for a small space. The living room area and dining area are small but nice spaces. There is are technically 2 bathrooms with showers. However, one is tiny and there is a tight space between the commode and the shower entrance. The bathrooms had been renovated (are newer), and were clean.

My biggest problem with the property - which is a big problem- was that the linens on the beds were terrible. Two of the beds didn’t have a fitted sheet to go over the mattress; just small flat sheets to cover over the mattresses. Well, you can imagine that any normal movement on the bed caused the flat sheet to shift and leave your body exposed to the underlying mattress. ALL of the beds didn’t have a flat sheet (that typically would be used beneath the comforter). In the main bedroom, the pillow cases were stained and didn’t match the fitted sheet. And 2 of the beds didn’t have proper pillow cases. When I sent a message to the property manager describing these exact problems,I got radio silence. I tried calling twice- no response. One day later, I got a reply stating that the cleaning lady reported that all the beds had proper linens and asking me to send pictures, which I did. And no response. This was completely unacceptable and rude.
