Windale, Highcroft & Garth @ Wetheral Cottages

Location wise good, parking facility was good, has laundry room with washing Machine & Dryer but this is common for whole building (may be 8-10 property in this premises) Don't use post code only for navigation but use Wetheral Cottage + post code so this will take you directly at right location They have given 2 separate cottage for our family of 10 adult, so don't expect is same building

They have given key safe number was wrong, luckily we spoke to nearby building lady (I don't know she was their staff) but she spoke to owner and then got the right number, so we got access at about 6pm. Boiler wasn't working from day of arrival until next day afternoon, so we (10 person family) couldn't able to take shower until they fixed next day. electric shower is not hot, so if you are visiting during winter month then is not ideal because 1 Bath has only electric shower. Central heating wasn't working during our stay but we visited in May, so not big issue but they have portable heater in room so we use it when needed. They have given 2 separate cottage next to each other for our family of 10 adult, so don't expect is only 1 house for family of 10

Pleasant cottages in a nice, country location.

Be prepared for an additional £250 deposit to be retained for a week AFTER you leave, (obviously, just in case you break anything..!?!. ) Also, the ridiculous pre-booking security checks are frankly insulting.
