Beautiful house in the heart of a golf course.

Large property nicely decorated

Double booked accommodation scary exspience with no support from owner.

Nothing at all, no keys left at the property. Door left open, sick all over the bathroom. No beds made, dirty bedding on beds. Alcohol bottles lying round the floor. Did not stay and had to find alternative accommodation. Host has not provided a refund despite this being no fault of my own. Disgusting service. And the least he could do after leaving myself and my two children feeling unsafe.

Everything. House was dirty, bathroom covered in sick no beds made. House not suitable and did not feel safe to stay in. I turned up to an absolute mess. When contacting the host he said his cleaner was supposed to be there from 8am, I was checking in at half 12, and was also an hour late so did not get there till half 1. He then called and said the previous customer did not leave on time. And his cleaner should have went in at 11 o clock? Despite previously saying 8am. He asks to give his cleaner half an hour to clean and it would be sorted. There was not a chance that the house would have been cleaned with bedding changed washed, sick cleaned, mopped, disinfected, hoovered, I had already been traveling for 4 hours and adding this to the day was not what I needed. The parking is not suitable at the house and is up a very step uneven bank, I'm lucky my car got up in one piece, there is other parking at the bottom of the steep bank, but would mean carrying all belongings back up, If you were to park at the bottom you'd probably trip or fall walking up it. No refund provided despite this being the hosts fault. I had to rebook a different venue and pay again. And despite numerous attempts to contact they have still not came back to me.

The property is very comfortable and quiet with plenty of beds and sleeping capacity

The approach to the property is problematic our car scraped on the road due to the raised stones along it and parking is unclear

Not much!

It was very cluttered with plants everywhere and too much furniture, very dirty and dusty, no maintenance of the property. House was too hot or too cold. No thermostat to regulate temperature. Had to go around individually to each radiator to regulate temperature. Beds were so badly made and unwelcoming. Bedding is so old and unironed. Duvets and pillows look like they had seen better days. Towels old and smelly. Front door was impossible to open and close so we mostly had to use back door. Steps on back door was full of old rotting leaves and very slippery and had to dodge the hot steam coming out of boiler vent on the way down. No oven gloves. Only 3 forks! Property doesn’t look like the photos at all as it looks very clean and well maintained in photos. No privacy in the main bedroom, glass door and an oversized curtain on the second door. No shelves in bathroom’s to put makeup or toiletries. One mirror in only one bedroom so we all had to share when getting ready! The list is endless!

Great contact with host. Very nice property we definitely will be back in the future for bit longer.
