The Royal Inn by Chef & Brewer Collection

Good ambience Room very comfortable although the one allocated was very dark up 2 flights of stairs and through a couple of firedoors. I asked if there was anything else and a much nicer room was found on the first floor . Staff were helpful but perhaps could have discussed what was available when we checked in. Bathroom high quality Food very nice.

No elevator, slot of stairs with luggage. Room was cold.

Chris, who was managing breakfast was an outstanding member of staff. He was friendly, helpful and professional The young lady who served us dinner was also a credit to the hotel. Sadly we did not get her name but she had long blonde hair. She was very attentive to our needs and also very friendly but retained a professional manner.

Cant think of anything. The stairs for elderly people were a challenge but obviously that cannot be changed. The young ladybon reception carried our bags to our room.

Great location with splendid views

I thought the accommodation was a little expensive

The location is excellent, with sea views and extensive outdoor seating. All staff were really friendly and attentive. The service was timely and professional. The decor and facilites were very clean, fresh and very comfortable. The bedrooms were well appointed and bathrooms very clean and fresh. Excellent stay and could not be faulted. There is just a five minute walk down to the marina.

The evening dinner menu didn't really match the standard of the hotel, being quite limited in choice. Though the food was well cooked, the amount of choice wasn't really adequate if staying more than a couple of nights. However, the local Marina had a number of excellent restaurants which were close by.

A friendly well run hotel with good facilities

The room was perfect. Large bedroom with an excellent bathroom with large bathroom and large walk in shower. Room 1 has a great view of the Bristol Channel and Severn Bridge. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

The food was average. My wife ordered a steak cooked medium which came well done and dry.
