We both loved staying at Mary and Micheal's place. The apartment sits behind the main house, is very private and spacious and really well set up for a comfortable stay. There was scones on arrival and Mary went above and beyond with home made bread and pie. Loved the location- highly recommend spending some time in Mitchelstown. If you love hiking there is lots to do in this area and if you are looking to experience proper Ireland then I would highly recommend staying here.

Schoon, ruim, goede bedden, heel vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen.

Een vaatwasser zou het nog beter maken, maar heeft ook weer zijn charme om samen af te wassen.

Mary es muy simpática y estaba todo muy bonito, limpio y cómodo.

Todo muy bien, si tengo que decir una cosa simplemente que al estar una casa al lado de la del propietario parece que tienes menos intimidas. Por lo demás todo perfecto.

Thanks to Mary for the hospitality! Because this is more than just a high-quality accommodation: as a host, she does everything to make you feel good. Brand new apartment, fully equipped, excellent furniture, in a wonderful rural setting. Huge yard for children, with a trampoline. Excellent hiking opportunities, many attractions within a 1-hour drive.

A dishwasher would be a great option to save time. :)

Ruim appartement en een prima bed. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien, incl een wasmachine. Host Mary is ontzettend gastvrij en vriendelijk.

We were provided with essential in the kitchen, teabags, milk etc. Plus complimentary brownies and soda bread. The location was great for hiking the Galtees and Knockmealdowns.
