The Palmetto House B- Walk To King Street

I liked the towels and the bedding. Kitchen was lovely and very clean. Decent places to eat and drink within walking distance.

The living room furniture is a bit shabby. The first night was noisy, but I know not hosts problem. Lots of stairs.

One bathroom for two beds with king beds

We required two bedrooms and we were very pleased that we each had our own bathroom. There was on site parking, a real bonus.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Very nice space. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Liked being able to eat outside on the balcony. Excellent location with just a short walk to King Street and great to have free assigned parking on the property.

Could do with a handy man going in for a few hours to fix towel bars & toilet paper holders firmly to the walls.

Liked the layout, communication from management, parking and extras like umbrellas, washer/dryer, towels, hairdryers, iron/ironing board.

Little water pressure, no hot water (most of the time not even lukewarm showers), lack of coat hangers in all the closets, no dressers to store clothes. Had to ask for additional shampoo/conditioner/soap and no laundry detergent.

Wasn’t aware ahead of time of all the steps to get to unit B.

Spaciousness of our unit - 4 bed, 3 bath apartments are hard to come by in the historic district; loved the KING size beds and lengthy 2nd story balcony where we often dined and where our dog enjoyed watching the action below on the street and sidewalk. There were two off street parking spaces adjacent to our unit for added convenience. The responsiveness of the property managers for a couple small issues was exceptional. Remodeled baths and kitchen were very well done and well appointed. Location was walkable to most attractions or at least to DASH, the free trolly that runs down King St

The "attic" bedrooms were the smaller rooms with one having a full bed and the other a queen, both with their own private bathrooms (actually a "nicety"). Our teenagers basically used those while a single, "2 step step-down" bathroom off the foyer was shared by the two adult couples in the two main king bedrooms. Noise from street traffic, particularly trash and delivery trucks, carried easily upward from the narrow neighborhood street below our unit.

Location was great and house was adorable.
