Very Large Double Room with Corner Sofa, Sky TV, Netflix etc, Fridge and Microwave

All good. No lock on room door.

The location was perfect for our needs. Our landlord, Richard, was friendly and helpful. The room was certainly large, the bed comfortable, facilities adequate. Had a downstairs toilet and sink right outside our room which was great. Only booked for one night. No breakfast with this room but tearooms etc not far away in town centre.

The host was very accommodating of my late arrival.

It was really handy for the ferry and a short walk from the town of Newhaven- Comfy room and what we needed to catch a ferry the next day- We watched a movie on Sky which was a nice extra. Clean and tidy.

We overlooked it was a room in someone's house and did feel a bit awkward in the family bathroom. There is a large window with no curtain and the we would prefer a lock on the door. The TV was really small and we felt we were in trouble when we arrived late. Newhaven offers limited entertainment-

The room is spacious. Very clean. Wifi is excellent. Nice restaurant nearby. Quiet Location. Richard is very kind to send back my husband's cap to London which has has left in the room.

Not much. Some suggestions: Bathroom with label on the door for easy identification will be better. The water pressure in the toilet water tape may be a bit high. When I turn on the water tap, water is splashed on the floor. If toilet bowl brush is provided in the toilet will be better.

Location close to ferry terminal

Proprietor was not there at the agreed arrival time and we had a very long wait in the heat of the day. Wash hand basin in downstairs loo was not clean.

There should be a thicker blanket or heat some more
