Very Large Double Room with Corner Sofa, Sky TV, Netflix etc, Fridge and Microwave

The room was very clean and looked exactly as advertised! It was very close to the maritime academy and travel in for my work was very easy! Close to anything you could need. Clear instructions for arrival sent by the owner prior to arrival and everything was easy to find.

On arrival there was no off road parking space, I messaged to ask and was told to park up the curb and it would be available the next day. There was no point during my stay that an off road parking space was available and I was forced to leave my car up the curb each night. Also there is cutlery/crockery provided but nothing to wash this up with, I had to buy washing up liquid and kitchen towels to clean this so perhaps this should be provided to avoid long term guests having dirty crockery in the room for the majority stay? Also there was no lock on the bedroom door. There was on the bathroom toilet door but when you are sleeping in someone else’s home and leaving your personal effects there it does feel very vulnerable to leave it all out and to stay only a door away from strangers with no lock for privacy. Not that anyone intruded it’s more for a comfort level. I was also lucky that the training location I was at daily had shower facilities as it felt very intimidating to go upstairs into someone else’s home to use the shower when there were people coming and going and I hadn’t met anyone to feel like I wasn’t intruding. Nothing the owners did but as a young female it did feel a bit uncomfortable to take myself up into a strangers home.

For work the location was perfect for me the accommodation is clean neat and tidy and the host friendly and informative. All information given prior to arrival with easy access.

Nice property, in good condition and fairly easy to find. Room was very large and would suit a small family.

No curtains on side window and no lock on the bedroom door which should be standard for both privacy and security. On first night woken up by dog at 4am which seemed to come from above and couldn’t sleep again once disturbed.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Richard needs to sort his door bell out though. It doesn't work . Would you again for sure .
