Easy check-in/out Tea, coffee; sugar, toiletries supplied The bus stop is literally a 2 minute walk away, approximately 45 minutes into Oxford for £3 p/p Perfect location for walking along the canal path & close by to the town. Barry, the host, is lovely. He came to meet us at the door. Wifi works very well. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is a nice size. There is one bedroom with a small double bed, and another bedroom with 3 single beds. Providing the towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner was a nice touch. The house is of good size with a big size backyard too, so we could seat outside too. The beds were comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet so we really slept well. The Oxford canal is 2 minutes walk away so we were able to take a nice walk along the canal. The house is a good place to stay if you intend to drive and discover Cotswolds or looking for an affordable alternative to stay to visit Oxford. There is a bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house and it takes you to Oxford center in approx 40mn, so this was convenient! The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you can think of. Barry provided us coffee and tea. Price is very good too and matches what we experienced.

Kidlington is not a pretty place, and has actually nothing to offer. It is very suburbean and probably people live here and commute to Oxford for work. We couldn't find any pub that served food after 8pm - some indicated on Google were closed, looking for a chef or kitchen closed during the week. Ended up hvaing to get food in the supermarket after having tried 4 places and driving around. No real shopping or anything to do around there. One night we tried to go the the pub ,The Bell, that Barry recommended. It was a Chinese Food night and had a 90mn wait as it is probably one of the only one serving food. Looked nice though. We ended up walking along the canal for 40mn and eat at the Jolly Boat (or something like that) - food was great there. With regard to the house, it is convenient and practical but decoration is minimal. Many things are wobbly (we picked up a side table and the leg fell off), the screw on the wall fell off and we ended up repairing it ( lucky one of us always carries tools and even screws). There is a smal dining table in the kitchen but too many chairs. The table outside and the benches are damaged and broken. So it feels the bare minimum is put in - not a home away from home though. But the price is very reasonable.

The house 🏡 was clean and tidy with everything set up as you would in a hotel 🏩 settings. Barry our host kept us informed of everything so from checking in on the first day till our checking out was very helpful indeed. The property did exceeded our expectations and the location was really quiet as well so definitely good for families and the canal walks 🚶 every morning was amazing. We definitely will be back 💯..cheers 🥂.

Just need a bathroom 🚽 window curtain or blinds .

No breakfast as this is a self-catering facility. The property is well suited to my purposes as it is close to my daughter's house and opposite a bus stop. The host, Barry, was very responsive and fixed any problems the same day. The property was clean and serviced regularly.

The property has an enclosed garden that could be improved with suitable furniture and pot plants to provide an ideal place for sitting out or entertaining in the long warm summer evenings.

The property was clean downstairs and quite a good amount of things for the kitchen which was lovely to see

The upstairs floor is extremely creaky and the beds under the sheets weren’t the cleanest.
