Host & Stay - Normanby Terrace Apartments

Really quiet. Well equipped. Good location within an easy walk of the town and the harbour. Very quiet. Bedroom was at the back away from the street. Good facilities. Easy to get in and check out. Parking voucher given. Nice shops and bars close by.

It was quiet when we were there so parking wasn't an issue but I suspect at a busier time of year it could be a problem.

Beautifully finished apartment. Everything looked new. Great location. Would definitely stay again

Great location provided good access to the town and seafront, close to everything. Parking on the street made transferring our luggage to and from the car easy. The apartment was modern and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable sofa and bed, we slept very well. Nice touches were the dog blankets, umbrellas we thankfully did not need and the tea, coffee and milk left for us was very much appreciated.

We are usually sent details of key boxes before our arrival time but had to ring twice to get code which took forever. Eventually got in after ten minutes stood on doorstep freezing.

I paid in full but did not gain entry as I was expected to give ALL my personal information including ID to a 3rd party to get damage waiver and the ALL reviews of this 3rd party company were dreadful. I should only have needed to provide a credit card, which I was happy to do. They would not give me any other option to pay a damage waiver. Appears to be a data gathering company who use your personal information for other purposes (read the small print). I will never book with Host and Stay again as in my opinion they are just information thieves and in some way connected to Superhog (3rd party) suggested insurance company, which they are not.
