GBThe location and scenery is about the only positive we can say
The bed is very uncomfortable, the mattress is very worn and poor quality. The bed is not suitable for anyone over 5ft in height and only 1 poor quality pillow per person, we hardly slept for 3 nights. The accommodation was a very poor standard of cleanliness, with dust accumulating throughout and the crockery and utensils left with the remains of previous occupants dinner in the them, along with the kitchen being covered with food debris. The toaster was disgusting also! The front door wasn’t lockable, so we had to remove all valuables every time we left as there was no way to secure the unit. The hot tub was old and didn’t work well, only way to get it hot, was to boil the kettle continuously for a couple of hours! decking and surrounding fencing in poor condition and rotting wood visible on the front of the unit. The first night and morning we had no hot water so were unable to shower. A member of staff banged the door in the morning stating he was to fit a new part for the hot water, so why let us check in, knowing we had no hot water! And to top it off, the owner messaged stating they hope we have a 5 star stay! Couldnt have been further away from 5 stars! No tea towel or cloths provided in the kitchen, and only 2 mismatched towels to use for 4 days, considering there’s a hot tub, not really adequate. Overall the accommodation is very dated, lacking love, in need of a lot of TLC and a damn good clean! Definitely wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning!
GBQuirky Shepards Hut in a peaceful location. Near the club house but not disturbed by any noise from it.
Too much chemical in the hot tub, causing my eyes to stream and shortness of breath as soon as the jets were turned on. I didn't stay on for long, but it was a nice private facility to have. I wouldn't have described the bed as a double, fine for a single occupier (as I was) but if it was a stay for me and my wife it would have been very cosy. Bulb missing in the shower, leaving the electrical contacts exposed, probably safe but not reassuring. Door lock is from and opposite opening door, so cannot be secured as you leave.

GBGBNo wear near a 4star..a 2 at most not very clean dust every wear in kitchen..jacuzzi cool ..told staf but never sent eney 1 back..oven not working..beds not the best ..iv had better in pods..this is my worst stay hear..won't be back..
The fact we are told jacuzzi would be nice hot luke warm terable..an told some 1 an they never came back to see us ..bought food to cook oven wasn't working..a total let down..stay away from this place ..

There was no hot water & couldn’t have a shower
GBGBWhen we arrived we had to be m9ved due to dog hair on the mattress smell of damp and hottub being green water Once moved to look at the place looked lovely but the bed was seriously uncomfortable a lot of silver fish and the shower was broken. Myself and my partner came this far for a break from our every day hectic lives and we left and drove home at just gone 5am after not being able to sleep. The owner seemed lovely but there are areas he needs to concentrate on improving.
