THe rooms were clean and comfortable. It felt like being in a home instead of a guesthouse

Key collection was very inconvenient as me and two other guests waited outside the property for almost 90 minutes without being able to get ahold of the host.

Very friendly host, very clean property and very comfortable rooms. Location also ideal, just 5 - 10 minutes walk to city centre, and 20 minutes walk to Stadium of Light.

Shared facilities not a deal breaker, but get up early in the morning otherwise you could face a long queue!

Quiet and peaceful , clean and tidy , good size room, 10 minute walk to town centre. Excellent value for money would recommend and would stay again. Lovely women very friendly

Shared toilet and bathroom would be an idea to put a vacant or occupied lock on door, just my opinion a kettle with tea and coffee in room as kitchen was downstairs with no access to tea coffee sugar or milk. Tv in room but we understand why for noise. Let people know before hand to bring indoor shoes/slippers as asked to take them off . Yes there is parking and we did get parked but there is only a parking space for one medium/small car. It all sounds negative but we had a really good stay excellent value for money

The host is so kind and thoughtful. The house is beautiful. They were very accommodating of my bicycle even though both me and the bike showed up rather wet and muddy! The bed was very very comfortable and overall just a lovely place to stay.

The host was incredibly kind, going the extra mile to make it stay comfortable. Lovely house and comfortable room. Great central location. Much bigger than staying in a hotel!
