The Cranny 2 Bed House in Central Morpeth

Great location Clean and comfortable with cosy sitting room Walking distance to town centre

Very dark for elderly couple, parking nightmare, very basic, pillows poor quality, bunk beds very poor comfort, jar of moldy jam in the cupboard. Ice box rammed with ice so unusable. Location fantastic.

The comfortable bed.

No washing machine. Broken oven. No blind or curtain in lounge. Inadequate parking. No general instructions about how to use the facilities, bin day etc. No real usable outside space.

Lovely house, great decor. The house was spotless and loved the layout.

Parking. Oven wasn’t working, provided with an air fryer which was ok for 2 nights but any longer could have been a problem. There was a note to let us know. Could do with a new mattress in 2nd bedroom springs were visible.

Communication with the owners was great, all my queries were quickly answered in a friendly personable manner. The property was beautifully decorated, with all of the facilities you would expect. Everywhere was immaculately clean and tidy. The lounge was spacious, and the couches were massive and super comfy! There were books and entertainment for smaller kids who aren't yet glued to their devices. We didn't have kids with us, but it was a lovely touch. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were even towels provided. The bathroom was lovely and bright, and the shower was amazing! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to cook and clean up afterwards. I'm planning another visit (with my husband and kids this time) and will definately recommend The Cranny.

I cant fault the facilities at all apart from maybe 1 thing, I think maybe a coffee table or small leaf table and 2 chairs would be a good addition to the lounge, we ended up playing cards on the floor! It wasn't a big issue for us at all, but there is plenty enough space at the window end of the room for one. Just an idea!

Was made to feel like home from the moment we arrived... nice little greeting pack left for us upon our arrival. Great area, 5 mins walk into the town center.

Only down side was the parking facility.... but was still pretty east to get parked through out our stay

Central location near the town centre.. nice walks near the river on the doorstep. Trendy decor. Shower and bathroom lovely. Nespresso machine but no pods. Dog treats a nice touch.

Lounge is very dark and there is no dining table or coffee table. Only thing net between you and road/pavement no proper curtains. Blind in bedroom let's light in and onto busy road so see car headlights passing and hear the traffic. Top bunk in the other bedroom is really high and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or a fear of heights! Parking haphazard as others have said. No logs or anything for fire(like a poker or kindling). No pint of milk or bottle of water like you usually get when you rent a house.
