Guests highly rate the great beach location and frequently praise the spacious and bright apartments.
GBThe large spacious rooms, and good sized bathrooms. Having a lovely sea view in the morning as the sun rises was a real pleasure. The accommodation is well equipped with everything needed for a true home from home experience. The parking in secure undercover area was also a bonus. The additional close by parking for our other vehicle really helped.
Nothing is any real consequence to detract from our stay.
GBThe apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
- The location of the apartment is something you will either ‘love or hate’ - it is situated next to an amusement arcade and opposite a fish and chip shop. Immediately next to the windows on one side of the building is an outdoor gym (you therefore can not open the curtains), we were on the ground floor, there is a lovely view of the beach but you can’t see it - if available the first floor apartments would be better. The patio doors open directly onto a very small patio but the ‘world walks by’ and looks in, you are so close to people walking by you can join in their conversations!! We used the apartment as simply somewhere to sleep. Dymchurch is a small village contains an amusement arcades, small fair ground, fish and chip shops and sports bars. It is important future guests are aware of location (none of which are the fault of the owner) to ensure they are not disappointed. A visit to Rye and Hythe are ‘must sees’ lovely towns in easy distance from the apartment, walking the dog on the beach in the morning and evening is wonderful!!
GBThe owner should be more transparent about their T&C’s. Once you pay your non refundable fee, you are directed to a page where you have to confirm your identity with your passport/driving licence, pay £200 deposit & complete/sign a contract form. In all the years i’ve used booking.com i’ve never had to do that. If you don’t want to do that you don’t get your money back. The apartment is nice etc but the owners should be transparent with all their requirements before you book. The external entrance door to the flats has a damaged lock and is difficult to access.

GBGood location near family that we were visiting
When we booked it was very difficult to contact the owner. The property was overpriced for what it was. At the car parking spot we had a homeless person staying in the allocated parking. The EV charging unit did not work and locked our cable so that we were unable to retrieve it. When we contacted the property no support was given and we are now without our cable. The company insisted on an additional 200 deposit that still has not been returned to us after we had already made payment for the property. Any communication we did receive from the owner was rude and unhelpful. This property is a scam and is extorting bookers - please delist this from booking.com to avoid future victims falling victim as we did.
GBLocation was good.
Owner was rude and unhelpful. Almost didn't get into the apartment as they were not communicating with us. Then when we did get through to them they were very rude and blamed booking.com for the issues. Did not feel welcoming or friendly, felt like we were an inconvenience, particularly grating given that they insist on taking damage deposit before stay and making you jump through hoops signing agreements etc before they'll let you stay.
