A Stone's Throw From Town Main House

The property was close to family The main bed looked uncomfortable, but to our surprise we slept well. We usually take our topper with us when travelling but we did not for this trip. The children had plenty of inside and upstairs room to play in Host was good Plenty of plugs and cords and power boards by the beds.

No green area outside play. Being on a hill, we live on flat ground. That's just me. No dryer, so it was hard to get clothes dried. The hot water was temperamental, scalding one minute then icicle the next. Unable to find key box, it was hidden behind a bush. Owner came out and showed us where key was. Television was temperamental and struggled to get out of Asian programme, could not connect to U Tube. The owners have put new WIFI system in recently Floor boards in places where saggy, cabinetry poorly constructed. Kitchen had most things you needed. Towels were for small people,

Beds very comfy, good heat pump, had netflix

Close to town, great shower and good kitchen space

Bed linen appeared to be clean

Everything else. In 20 years of travelling round the world this is by far the worst presented property that we’ve ever encountered. The entrance area, the main door which appears not to have seen a lick of paint in the last 10 years, a curtain over the bathroom door which could be 50 years since it was cleaned and the doors interior of all the drawers and cupboards were all simply disgusting

The staff were fabulous and went out of their way to be helpful. They have great local knowledge and recommended places in the area that were worth visiting. You definitely couldn’t fault them with customer service and their communication prior and during our stay, it was outstanding.

It’s a quirky house but it’s a work in progress so that’s totally understandable.

Cobwebs and dusty indoors. Decor is outdated and could do with some TLC. The throw and pillows on the couch smelled. The blinds were all bent so the light came in. Does its job as a place to stay.
