The Cottage - Snowdonia, North Wales

Cosy and lovely views

Very narrow road to property and we have a large car. Very steep stairs. Not a working fireplace when description states this. Shower room very small. Not great for tall/large people. A few cobwebs in places, washing machine taped up.

Loved this quirky cottage. It was comfortable and well equipped, with lots of nice touches - outdoor seating area with great views, cosy throws,, maps and books. Sioned was very responsive and helpful when we texted.

It was at the top of a steep hill, grateful for views but a challenging walk at the end of a long walking day for us on the Snowdonia Way. But it is very close to a path out onto the hills.

Opportunity to add dressing table a chair upstairs in room would be useful

Views, neighbours very helpful

Toilet too cramped, bed uncomfortable. Drive up scary, this is not the hosts fault.

Cottage was lovely, really nicely decorated and clean. Plenty of storage in the kitchen and had a lovely little dressing room which was perfect for putting bags/cases. Really lovely views from the cottage and the owners were really responsive when we had any questions or issues. We did book for a week but left after 4 days, however our stay up to this point was good.

The drive up to the cottage from the village was a bit tedious, very steep and awkward if there were any passing vehicles. The neighbours were a bit too familiar (or tried to be) for our liking but this is obviously a personal preference. Washing machine broke, but the owners were really responsive when we made them aware.
