Homely 2-bed Terrace with Log Burner

Well decorated and clean property, on a quiet road. Lovely bath and spacious. Host was very responsive.

No shower gel, bubble bath, or shampoo/conditioner provided, although when messaged the host provided a bar of soap. The ‘musty’ smell in other reviews is simply damp - this smell unfortunately lingers around the whole downstairs and particularly the living room. No logs provided, although some scrap wood was available in an outdoor cupboard. No lighter or matches provided to light the fire, which seems odd given that ‘log burner’ is in the name of the property. Dishwasher was rusty - wouldn’t wash dishes in there. Cleaning sponge provided both reeked of mould/damp and would use.

Clean and spacious apartment, quiet area so that you can sleep in peace. Good location for me as its close to the hospital where I had my surgical course, few minutes walk to bus stop which takes you to different places. Good WiFi signal. Good communication with the host, she was replying to my Booking messages.

Starting from the self check in, although was easy, but the neighbour was so rude and asked about my identity !! His two hugely big aggressive dogs terrified me. They were pushing behind the wooden door where the key box stands next to. I begged him to calm them down just to collect the key. Three nights stay with only one toilet paper supply which the host thinks its ample, I have been around the world and no one did this. I mentioned this in my messages to her. I bought some to myself. The most horrible thing was the strange very strong smell coming from the living room carpet. It was all clean but very irritating smell (I mentioned my allergy to lavender and detergant which I didnt struggle with). The small upstairs room was the only one which didnt irritate me. Avoiding going to ED, I was stuck there. Couldnt see Tv or use the kitchen (except refrigerator), as if I was renting en suite room. Being a professional, I would never recommend it to people with even mild air-borne allergy. Also not for spider-phobic people as they were many even upstairs!!

Lovely little terraced house with above average facilities for the area. Wonderful bathroom with both rainfall shower and roll top bath. Homely and just what we needed as a frequent visitor to Lincoln. Host very amenable and friendly. Really great stay and already booked to stay again.

Minor point of the heated towel rail springing a leak whilst we were there but placed a bucket underneath it and informed the owner on departure. The problem is now fixed.

Very clean and staff was very understanding and helpful

There was an initial problem with the doors not allowing us in. We had to wait 1 hour to get a key that works.
