Arma Museam and Park

Room was not clean upon arrival, dirty towels and the rooms are clearly outdated and in need of renovation. The hotel promotes sustainability and environmental awareness, but having to run the shower for five minutes before getting warm water contradicts that message. Water pressure was also weak. Arma and his family are kind and welcoming people, which we appreciated. However, some of the staff — not all — provided service that was far below what I would expect from Arma’s standards. Overall, the hotel rooms urgently need an upgrade. Apart from the Arma Museum, I do not understand how this property maintains such a high rating.

Arma Museum & Resort was the highlight of our stay in Bali. I can't recommend this place enough. It is a true tropical oasis in busy Ubud. You could literally have a great Ubud holiday without leaving the hotel/museum grounds. It has the Balinese culture as a centrepiece, the grounds were amazing and the staff were too.

We spent the first night in a Deluxe room which was noisy and had a bad shower over the bath thing happening which wasn't a vibe, and paid to upgrade to a villa (with a pool) after that and it was worth every penny.

wir sind tatsächlich nach der ersten Nacht geflüchtet. Wir hatten eine private Villa mit Pool gebucht, von außen hui von innen leider ganz großes Pfui. Villa 110 ist zum Abriss bereit. Schimmel, undefinierbares Zeug was aus der Klimaanlage kommt, ein Duschkopf der seinen Namen nicht verdient hat, fehlende Türgriffe, Vorhänge mit mehr Löchern, als Stoff, massiv viel dreck und ein extremer Insektenbefall. Weiter dort bleiben war für uns keine Option, so dass wir am frühen Morgen gleich die Rezeption aufsuchten, alles schilderten und dann auch problemlos abreisen konnten. Im Gespräch mit anderen Gästen kam auf, das einiges wohl frisch renoviert / Hilton Standard ist, wir hatten wohl Pech. Aber dann fragt man sich schon, warum solch eine Villa in Vermietung gegeben wird

Sehr alt und dunkel, Frösche in der Dusche, sehr laut in der Nacht, falsche Zimmerbeschreibung, sehr schlechtes Frühstück, nicht 4 Sterne und wir hatten jeden Tag Baulärm

My stay at ARMA was one of the best parts of my time in Bali. Everyone on staff was thoughtful, kind and helpful, and the grounds and rooms are absolutely beautiful. Also the room was immaculately clean, the location excellent, and the cultural activities really enjoyable. Particular highlights include the well instructed and delicious cooking class and market visit, the evening dance performance and the art museum. I highly recommend ARMA as a place to stay, and also to take part in cultural activities.

The grounds were incredible! Staff were also super helpful, particularly when we got caught out in the rain and got a little lost - we had a lovely team member come to rescue us, complete with warm towels and umbrellas. So kind! Location was fantastic, very easy to walk out and explore Ubud. We only spent one night here, booked mainly as we had booked into a cultural dance performance that night - but wish we'd had more time to spent on the site, exploring the museum and grounds. We did enjoy the afternoon tea at Warung Kopi, and the iced banana latte was divine!

Our deluxe room was good, but we were quite disappointed with the bathroom - the shower had almost non-existent pressure, and barely lukewarm water, which we didn't realise until we went to shower before departure, so due to time limitations just had to make do. For the price we paid, this was a disappointing end to our stay.

Breakfast - Honestly not so great Room - loved our villa, hidden away from the hustle and bustle. We received free access to the Museums but did not manage to visit them there was so much to see in Ubut. They offer their guest a free teatime snack as well. There is a shop opposite the road that is very convenient for your everyday needs. Will visit again if the opportunity presents itself.
