The location is fantastic — it’s super accessible to major tourist spots, with bus stops and a train station just around the corner. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, offering a wide range of food options, which made it so convenient. I wasn’t expecting much from the apartment, but it was actually more than what I had hoped for given the price. The space was comfortable and clean, and the overall stay was really pleasant. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet well-located option in Seoul, I highly recommend this place!

Everything was great, from the position to the supplies. Joe is a great thoughtful host. The best way to get to the apartment if you have heavy luggages is to take a taxi, since is located up on a hill, but it totally worth it cause the neighbourhood is amazing and is always nice to walk to the nearest metro station or to take a bus. The kitchen is essential, but it has what you need if you want to cook yourself the breakfast or having a midnight rameyon. The room is really comfortable.

Is a little bit dark if you like natural light, but is not a great problem. Couldn’t find the laundry machine, so I don’t know if it’s included or not.

The property is located in a nice area, not too busy so one can be assured for a good night sleep. The subway station is about a 20-minute walk away, and there are a few bus stations just a short walk away. You can pretty much get to anywhere in Seoul from here. Just behind the house, there's a lovely walking trail up to Namsan Tower and it connects to the Seoul City Wall Trail too. There are also plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby. The property is well-kept and the beds are comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He came a few times to check if everything was ok. Do take note that if you're traveling with heavy luggage from the subway station to the property, be prepared to walk up the slope and climb the stairs.

I stayed at this apartment in Korea with my two nieces, and we had a fantastic experience. The host was incredibly good and responsive, always ready to help whenever we needed anything. The apartment even has a sneak peek of the Seoul Tower, which was a lovely bonus, and there are plenty of shops nearby, making it super convenient. One of the highlights of our trip was trying to BBQ marshmallows, which accidentally led to us burning his chair (oops!). Despite this, the host was so understanding and didn’t complain at all, which truly showed his kindness. Overall, a great stay with a very accommodating and friendly host. Highly recommend!

The host was super friendly and made sure to make me feel welcomed and safe! The location was in the heart of Seoul and could get anywhere by bus. The home was cozy and it gave me a sense of how “living in Korea” would feel like as I felt I was coming home every time I went out. The surrounding areas had everything I needed from multiple convenience stores, pharmacies, small supermarkets and few restaurants and coffee shops. Easy access to the bus !

This applies for almost every part of Seoul, come prepared to walk uphill and hike stairs to get home! Luckily, this accommodation has 2 accessible routes to get to it. The 1st route you need to go up the Main Street and climb the stairs (which are not that many) , The 2nd route is to get off the bus/taxi close to the Namsan church entrance and you can come down the street and avoid the stairs all together! Just a tip in case you come with lots of luggage and don’t want to drag them up the stairs.

There are 2 apartments beside eachother - when people enter of leave the other flat you can hear it quite clearly.

We highly recommend choosing this place to stay at in Seoul. Everything was as described and the host made sure we had what we needed and were okay. Location is also great! We would love to come back and stay there again :)

First of all is the host amazing! He speaks fluently English, gave us tips for food and activities and he even gave us free keychains as a souvenir! The apartment is perfect. It has all the facilities you need (including free water). The location is also very convenient, it’s in the center of Seoul so you can just walk to some popular places like The Seoul Tower and Itaewon (both about a 20-30 minute walk). In conclusion, we had a very pleasant stay!

The view from the apartment is not really good, you can only see the courtyard. But we didn’t mind (If you step out of the courtyard you have an amazing view of the street and mountains).
