Spacious room with a Very comfortable bed

Breakfast was a little unusual but otherwise pleasant

Emma, manager responded to my queries before we arrived very promptly, efficiently and helpful. they allow us to check in slightly early upon arrival. The room was very well equipped with white company shampoo conditioner, body wash, handwash and hand lotion! there was shower caps beautiful white towels and bath robes. The shower was easy to work and the fittings were solid-they so often feel like they’re about to fall off the wall in other places. There was loads of tea coffee a great kettle Nespresso machine and cafeteria as well as lovely BORDER biscuits which were replaced daily loads of milk both normal and soya The restaurant was fantastic innovative menu spoilt for choice with both starters and main course and didn’t even manage to get to the desert! Would definitely book again breakfast is serve yourself in a homely dining room upstairs more than adequate continental breakfast choice. With high-quality cereals by Dorset cereals, lovely yoghurt, sourdough and croissant with little jars of Tiptree jams, marmalade, peanut butter and marmite and lashings of tea and coffee as one would expect in in Eton not something you frequently say in UK but the air-conditioning was very welcome! Short walk across the bridge to Windsor, Windsor Riverside Station and Windsor and Eton Central Station, with fast direct trains to central London

Lovely atmosphere and staff excellent

Location, close to all amenties, shops, Windsor, river etc.

Nobody onsite and help yourself continental breakfast. For the price, I would have expected a full cooked breakfast.

Walking distance to Windsor Castle which is really nice. So quiet at night, even though the room is facing the main street, everything shuts down at night so you don't hear a thing. On top of a busy bar/restaurant is no problem at all.

No lift to the upper floors but it's expected in old buildings like that. It has its charm.
