"Quiet and Relaxing"

The location was stunning and the cottage really quaint. The hosts were superb and friendly, the room clean , quaint with the beams and everything you could possibly need or forgotten.

The only negative and it would of been ok if we had known in advance is that you have to take your shoes off at the front door ( this was a first for me )

"Charming Cottage, Outstanding Hosts"

A truly delightful stay. Chestnut Tree Cottage is a beautiful property in a perfect location for exploring Sussex and visiting the Ardingly Antiques Fair. What made our stay especially memorable was the warm and personalised hospitality. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The delicious brownies and the lovely conversations were thoughtful touches that made all the difference. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again.

"Charming cottage space in pretty village"

Great location for our stay. Host was super friendly and we had all the information we needed before we arrived. Cottage was cute and suited me and my two adult kids perfectly. Loved the welcome brownies!!

I would have liked the bed to be a bit firmer.

This is a fabulous lil cottage and we loved our short stay. The owner was super friendly and so were her dogs. It has a relaxed vibe and we felt very welcome. The whole place was beautifully designed and super clean. We would definitely stay here again, if we come this way. I highly recommend this gorgeous cottage and it's family.

"Hidden gem"

Good communication & a warm welcoming reception on arrival from Lisa . Our room was like home from home. Everything you could wish for and more. Homemade brownies and fresh flowers in the room also. We would have no hesitation recommending Lisa,s home to anyone. Book with confidence and you'll not be disappointed. See you next year for another " Swim the Lake event "
