The village was nice, friendly good local ammenities. It gave us a safe place. Nice brownies provided by host.

White carpet nightmare for 3 disabled people with fridge located the opposite side of the living room, white carpet all the way to the kitchen. 2 members of our party fell due to small step floor changes in the property, although sort of expected in old property. Noisy night due to location on the side of A272. Post it notes everywhere. Good to communicate but weird.

The location: easy to find, near pub. Marvellous, comfy bed and sofabed. Sweets, coffee/tea and fudge cake. Warm.

No fridge and cannot see why. The owner was visibly irritated when we mistook the door to their side to a door to a second room. They have two properties and the description in Booking.com mixes pictures from the two (a bit naughty). This does not have two separate bedrooms and a bath. Could not work the shower and there were no instructions.

The room was lovely. Lots of great little touches which are really welcoming. The room is in the owners house and they are very welcoming. The bed is actually a large double rather than two singles pushed together. It's a great place to stay

You have to take your shoes off by the front door, which is completely understandable, but I suppose might be a bit of a pain for some. The shower cannot be turned up as it overflows

"A cosy room in a pretty, small house in the middle of Ardingly. Good value."

8.0

No breakfast, just the room but good value for money even so. A cosy, clean, well-stocked bedroom with tea and coffee making facilities, home-made chocolate brownies, comfortable bed with high tog duvet, plenty of extra blankets, plenty of hanging space, friendly welcome and departure.

The large dog that greeted us was slightly unnerving, I admit! Not easy for many visitors, I think.
