"Beautiful room in a beautiful house, with great hosts , only drawback was the poor shower."

Warm welcome , very lovely room in a lovely house . A lovely touch was home made brownies in our room and a plate of sweets along with the tea and coffee and biscuits. Our stay was very good, great hosts , beautiful room and house, very clean, and comfortable.

The shower we were asked to put it on no. 2 as the shower tray cannot cope with a fast volume of water, a notice on the wall also asks this. But on no. 2 water was cold and so you have to turn it more then the power of water fills up the shower tray. Water doesn’t drain away fast enough .because then you risk a flood. We were not happy with the shower. Thought I might just have a wash in the sink but water is cold so boiled a kettle of water for that. The room was a little cool . A heater in the room we turned on . Sufficient for autumn weather but in the winter if you stayed overnight, we felt it just wouldn’t be warm enough.

from the second I booked, it was constant communication with very quick replies to ask questions i had! they were incredibly accommodating with our time of arrival as we changed our plans and both hosts were so welcoming to us being in their home! our room was pristine, the brownies were a hit! and the location was perfect! we would 100% stay here again and would definitely recommend!

the only snag was a freezing cold shower in the morning but other than that, this was perfect and this didn't come close to ruining our stay.
