Heart of Windermere

The location was brilliant, especially the private parking absolute 10 out of 10. The whole place felt very homely and safe.

This is a great location in the city center, very convenient and close to the station, lots of places to eat and relax.

Lots of restaurants, bars nearby. Coop & Sainsbury's is a few steps away for those that like to self cater.it has a designated parking space and they allow dog. A good base to explore Lake district. The house is in 2nd floor which is not a problem for us but might be a concern for those with mobility issue's. A home away from home.

Location and parking was good. Super clean and well equipped. We like to go out in the evening so we didn’t need to drive to have dinner and drinks. Shops by your door.

The shower wasn’t the best and once the heating goes off the flat goes cold very quickly.

Great property right in the heart of Windermere shops restaurants on the door step good transport links. The flat was to a high standard warm and comfy had everything we needed for cleaning . Owner was very nice and accommodating after I messaged to ask for early check in and kept me updated.

The dark steps although this wasn’t much of a problem for me and two kids and a dog but it was very dark would defo recommend some solar power lights /fairy lights to go along them but we managed with torches .

Problem with the drains

The Flat was beautiful and was in a brilliant central location. Plenty of really good places to eat and numerous Coffee shops/cafes which were lovely. There was a Sainsbury shop and co-op literally on our doorstep so any essentials needed wasn't a problem. Also the bus stop going to Bowness and Keswick about 1 mins walk !! I would recommend the orrest head walk just next to train station for a nice family stroll with view's at the top unbeatable for a 30-40 mins walk. Eddlestons butchers too, just over the road, probably the best steak pie ive ever had.

Location was good.

Apartment was very uncomfortable.. it was not kids friendly. Was never informed about 2 floors with steel staircase at the time of booking. Plus, shower might give you shock with hot burn as temperature control doesn't work effectively..
