The location is on a large housing estate.

This is a very comfortable canal side property set in a quiet location near the city centre. It was exceptionally clean, light and airy. Our host had made every effort to make us feel welcome with each room containing lovely fresh flower arrangements, complimentary snacks in the kitchen together with milk provided for tea/coffee. Instructions on how to use appliances were very clear and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The patio area outside is ideal for warm sunny evenings. It is also ideally located for a very pleasant walk along the canal to the city centre. There is ample parking for two cars with easy access to the cottage. Communications with our host were responded to very promptly. Thank you Thi for a lovely stay in your beautiful property.

This is the best holiday rental I have stayed in. The house is beautifully kept and decorated, the location is lovely, and the host was really helpful. The house and garden are so well kept, everything is beautiful and clean. The information given by Thi is really helpful. We loved it.

Fresh flowers in every room were absolutely stunning, the main bouquet in the front room was a match to a display you’d see in a 5 star hotel lobby entrance!! The flower arch by the gate with hanging tea cups was beautiful. View from the garden overlooking the canal was lovely. The amount of provisions left for us in fridge, freezer and cupboards was fantastic. Snack tray was like a mini sweet shop!! Beautiful 10-15 min stroll alongside the canal to the centre. Excellent communications with host. Everything you’d need for a holiday stay - is there!!

We weren’t too keen on the shower. It wasn’t very powerful but the main issue was trying to sort the curtains & managing them around the piping/taps trying to prevent water going all out the bath. This would not stop us recommending this place though. We would have preferred a dishwasher there rather than the washing machine. We did cook so a dishwasher would have given us some free time rather than a washing machine we wouldn’t have needed to use.

The house was very well suited for our group of friends. We particularly liked the location along the canal, as we were able to walk into Chichester easily and enjoyed a stroll in the other direction too. The selection of treats and other essentials was a lovely surprise, and the local strawberries were delicious! The sofa bed was very comfortable as well.

We would have appreciated a lock on the bathroom door. Also, the noise from the nearby A27 was constant, but not too bad. It would have been good to have instructions of where to park and how to find the house.
