Tiny house for 2 with private garden

It was perfect for my needs. I just needed a "cabin" for the weekend to base myself at. The surrounding shops and cafes are really close by and very friendly. Marriane and Richard were on hand if I needed and were just lovely hosts.

Private location with a price far lower the the second least expensive option. Overall a pleasant stay, just make sure you read the reviews so you know what you are getting into and if it is worth the saved money, it was for me.

The accommodation is somewhat dark and can get cold in colder months, there are both underfloor heating and a radiator, but it was not enough to get the whole apartment warm (visited in early spring). The facilities are also limited (only small mirror and no sink in the bathroom, only in the kitchen). Apartment could be also cleaner a little bit.

Location is very good, you have a very nice tiny house with a toilet, shower, kitchen, fridge, a double bed and a private garden.

It was very quiet and it was so nice to be able to walk into the garden. It was a cold night, but the house was warm. And there is even underfloor heating!

It was not a problem for me, but it is good to be aware that you have to climb a loft ladder to get to the bedroom.

In walking distance to everything, but quiet and secure, with everything I needed for a few nights as a solo traveller. Comfy bed, nice desk, good shower, heated floor in the bathroom(!), hammock seats(!)... After backpacking a few larger European cities, Utrecht was definitely the highlight of my trip – it has so much more personality, and I definitely felt the same about this very unique accommodation, compared to the hostels and budget hotels I'd been staying in. A great value and I feel very lucky to have booked this place.

No mirror over the sink made shaving a little challenging. A little chilly in the (February) mornings before the radiator decides to cut in.

Comfortable, warm, quiet, self contained accommodation, good facilities including very comfortable bed, fresh and clean. Bus stop within 5 metres of front gate, Number 1 bus every 15 minutes directly to Utrecht city centre. Access to upstairs bedroom is via foldaway wooden steps, no issue for me, but worthy of mention. Host Marianne and her family are friendly and welcoming, and spend much of their time in an open sided building nearby in the garden, provides added security.

Light fittings are ornate, but lighting levels are low throughout. Front and rear windows on ground floor are in secluded location, but only have net curtains, full curtains would have been nice to have,
