"Calm spot in the city"

We had a lovely big room where the shower was outside which was a fun touch. It was very easy to keep the room cool with ceiling fan. The hotel is in a great location and we were easily able to walk to the central restaurants. The overall design of the hotel is beautiful, a real oasis of calm in a busy city.

Location and staff.

The room I was provided was a bit “tired”. It could use some fresh updates. Definitely not worth paying for first class lodging.

"Beautiful oasis in central Merida"

Second time at the property, many years after the first visit. Rooms are spacious and well decorated, with an outdoors shower. The hotel lobby is beautifully upkept, in Yucatec style, and the pool area is very pleasant. Very relaxed atmosphere, an oasis in the warm chaos of central Merida.

The only aspect that I would recommend improving is the variety of meal and drinks options offered at the hotel restaurant. More vegetables, less sugar. I would also recommend the hotel organizes evening music (local bolero for instance) at sunset at the bar.
