SWINTON HOUSE - Beautiful 3 Bed House in Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Das Haus war sehr wohnlich, gemütlich und modern. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Abwicklung mit dem Schlüssel war problemlos. Die Nähe zur Innenstadt war super.

The house was exceptionally clean, well maintained and very well appointed. The gas fireplace gave the living room ambiance, and the large windows looked out to a lovely garden.

We had to leave after a week, but we hope to stay there again someday!

It was spotless and had so many "little touches" that didn't go unnoticed. We loved it, thank you for having us ❤️

There was nothing we didn't like

The owner had tried their best to cater for everything. It was a lovely home.

Dogs welcome at an extra charge but more care could be taken on cleaning to remove pet hair

Very comfortable like a home from home really lovely facilities furnishing and lots of thoughtful touches from the owner. You can tell this is a home. Well equipped kitchen with great quality appliances. Comfy sofas lots of space to chill out. Comfy beds, nice shower upstairs. Big bath downstairs A 30 minute walk to Harrogate, which is not too far Set a little culdesac nice and quiet with good neighbours. The owner was lovely very friendly and helped us out with some extra washing powder.

The owner was doing jobs when we arrived and half an hour beyond our check-in time. They gave us a late check out which we happy with. We gave this feedback and it’s not a normal practice for the owner to be there when guests arrive. The other things to be aware of that there is a security camera in the front porch and in the backyard. This made us uncomfortable and not wanting to use the backyard in the garden room as it was indirect view of the camera. This is not noted on booking.com. It is mentioned on the Airbnb listing and the reason for having it is to make sure guests don’t smoke. Personally, we would not rebook because of this camera despite all the good things about the property we prefer our privacy. The other thing to note is half of each wardrobe was locked for the owner, several cupboards locked - it’s an it’s an trade-off for it being a proper homely home and having lots of the own stuff still in there and lots of instructions and directions on stickers around the place. This was to make sure that things are used in the right way and that people can find things however not necessary

Comfortable spacious and lots of little extras and attention to detail. Good location and priced well for area and facilities

Small thing but had trouble with shower switch.

Very clean. Great linens, washer and outdoor space.
