Stylish 3-bedroom home in Canterbury City-Centre - Superb Location!

The location was amazing! So close to the city centre and we could walk everywhere.

The kitchen needed deeper cleaning, and more facilities. We were charged £110 for cleaning! Some maintenance issues have been communicated to the host. The amount charged in all was quite high in light of the above.

Great property in a perfect location. Everything 5 adults needed for a comfortable 3 night stay. Literally across the road from the City Centre and only a few minutes walk to Canterbury Cathedral. Great eating options nearby - a Gastropub Restaurant, Thai and Chinese Restaurants, a Chinese takeaway and a pub within 200 metres of the house. A perfect base for not only exploring Canterbury, but the surrounding areas of Kent.

Location to the City is excellent and just a short walk to the bus station and nearby shops. The property was clean inside and the 3 bedrooms were all spacious with comfortable beds. We appreciated the provision of washing up liquid, hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Communication with Oliver and Tim was very quick and efficient. They arranged a parking permit for our car and were very prompt in bringing us some items we were short of.

We didn't use the sitting room in the basement as the stairs are quite steep and really need a handrail - I see this has been mentioned in previous reviews.

The finish of the property was poor/tired. Noise from the street not mentioned, poorly fitting and cheap looking plastic blinds that only offered privacy not light reduction.Very steep internal stairs, the ones into the basement didn't have a bannister which felt extremely unsafe. The house was really cold when we arrived which added to the feeling of unwelcoming. Great location, but would benefit from a folder of nearby convenience shops and takeaway restaurants nearby, very little showed up on an internet search.

Great location, great layout of rooms etc good size rooms which we needed for the kids moving around

Very steep stairs down to a basement living room, this proved tricky as we had a 2 year old with us and it seems a bit dangerous for them and no handrail to hold while trying to get up and down - it would be helpful if this was mentioned before booking as this could be a real issue for someone. Windows felt like they were open in front ground bedroom very cold at night and also very noisy with people walking past which disturbed sleep most of the night

Owners took a lot of effort in ensuring that the details of the property and supplementary information was electronically supplied, so easy to follow.

Location, well equipped and clean. The owner went out their way to get extra parking times for the street parking.
