Stylish City-Center Apt 2 Bdrms

Casetta sita tra i surreali ed affascinanti vicoletti del Barrio Santa Cruz. Sono presenti due rampe di scale: una per accedere all'area living ed una all'area notte, una zona soppalcata con materasso, comodini ed una poltroncina. L'area living è molto ben arredata in stile industrial, il bagno è comodo con lavatrice e prodotti per la pulizia, la doccia ampia e dotata di shampo e body foam. La cucina è super attrezzata e dotata di tutto: set coltelli, posate, mestoli, pentole, padelle, piatti, ciotole, tazze, olio, sale etc etc. Ferro ed asse da stiro. Profumini sparsi per casa. E' presente un balconcino caratteristico che dà proprio sul vicoletto di entrata

The apartment was spotlessly clean and was beautifully designed. We had everything we needed for our stay including a parasol for the beach! Check in was smooth and host kept us updated at every step. The location is spot on for everything in Alicante.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The apartment is small and very tastefully furnished, cosy, and has everything you need for a short stay. The historic building has lots of charm, with lovely exposed wooden beams, but has been modernised very well. Plenty of hot water and a nice shower with basic bathroom products all provided. It's located in the Barrio - a tourist magnet - and is super close to Mercado for the tram to the beach and shopping, also close to the beautiful castle (a lovely view of it from the little balcony) and city centre. The host was friendly, accommodating, and easy to reach by text message (I had a problem with the door lock and heating and she solved it well and super fast). She also provided tons of useful information about local restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc, which I appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped, with a good coffee machine, and coffee pods, tea and a bottle of wine were provided. Good wifi connection.

I stayed in the apartment for 8 days in February, so I had some luggage. Getting my suitcase and rucksack up the steep entrance steps into the flat (more like a ladder!) was very difficult. I can't imagine there is really enough space for two adults and their luggage, as there is hardly any space to store luggage / its contents. The small cupboard near the bed is inaccessible, as it's impossible to stand in the bed area and there is no room to get a suitcase up the steps to the platform where the bed is located. I unpacked and kept my clothes in the bathroom, where I could actually stand up to get dressed. There is no full length mirror. I found these factors pretty impractical. You can't drink the tap water in Spain due to high chlorination, so a bottle of water on arrival (at almost midnight) would have been really welcome. The flat is located on a narrow but very busy street where a steady stream of tourists pass by from morning to night, so it's noisy. There was also a lot of noise due to the carnival - the epicentre of the live music was in the next square, so check the dates if you want to visit / avoid loud festivals! I recommend earplugs in any case.

La limpieza y decoración, cama cómoda, baño reformado

La accesibilidad, escalera peligrosa y muy inclinada. Zona cama techo muy bajo no llega a 1.20 metros Ubicacion a la casa deberian advertir subir muchas escaleras porque ea muy incomodo para subir No tiene armarios, ni espacio habitacion para maletas, ningun espejo

The location, cute and rustic.

Unfortunately the shower wasn’t great, water temperature and pressure was very temperamental. The door didn’t close completely so did tend to leak.

Sie ist sehr gut gelegen mitten in einem tollen Viertel .

Wir waren an einem Wochenende da wo das Kreuze fest war es war echt toll nur leider wussten wir nicht das direkt neben unserer whg die Bühne war es war von Freitag bis Sonntag Mega laute Musik bis morgens halb vier das war schon heftig an schlag war nicht zu denken . Aber sonst tolle Atmosphäre zu dieser Zeit alles schön geschmückt
