The Deer Hut at Carr House Farm

Loved the whole set up. The log burner stole the show for me, it was cosy and warm. The bathroom and the loo were very clean. We would definitely reccomend!

The location, the style, amenities and outdoor shower are all perfect for a quiet glamping get away. The quirky hut has everything you need to get by and is set in the beautiful countryside, just a few minutes away from Cayton beach. Highly recommend you try the other beautiful site outdoor showers. It’s a dog friendly site, which is another added bonus. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely nothing

It was clean and presentable. Location was quiet and a pleasant stay

No integrated toilet facilities within the hut No way of cooking with a fry pan other than setting the fire put up Dont reall use an air fryer. If it had rained it would be difficult to cook Couldn't nip out to the toilet but had to go across wet grasd Lastly, the hedge was overgrown and blocked any view unless you looked through the don't feed sign

The use of re-cycled materials , the hedgerow and trees full of wildlife.... and the Loo with a view!

Slightly bigger outside table would be nice.... but could bring one along next time

Beautiful location

Beautifully located, not too far from Scarborough, but far enough to be out in the peaceful countryside. The Deer hut is perfect in every way. Clean, quirky, all the amnesties that you could need. Electricity, Air fryer, log burner, private outdoor shower and the comfiest double bed. Can’t fault it. We will be back.
