Your Home From Home in Newport.

Everything was to hand and we felt very at home. The property was spacious with a good sized and sunny garden. Everything was provided right down to good quality cleaning items. There was nothing not to like. The location could not have been better with shops, pubs and restaurants a few minutes walk away. The Red Squirrel Trail was just across the road, perfect for dog walking and safe picturesque cycle trails going for miles. Parking outside was not a problem for us. All parts of the island were easily accessible by car around 30 minutes, or by bus with the bus station just a few minutes walk away from the property. Enjoyable days out included the Steam train in Wootton, a visit to Totland beach and a walk around Cowes, plus of course Newport itself.

I was visiting the island with my kids, and since our relatives also live in Newport it was very convenient to be situated close to them. There was on-street free parking always available. The house was spacious and the bedrooms were light, and overall the house felt quiet and private. The kitchen was well equipped. For us, this house provided a unique proposition of having three bedrooms, located actually in Newport at an acceptable price. I think it's somewhere we would stay again, but I would definitely describe it as practical and functional rather than comfortable or enjoyable. Overall the vibe was one of fairly well-maintained student accommodation.

The house wasn't as cosy or welcoming as the pictures indicated. It's a big space and I understand it must be difficult to keep clean – I would say cleanliness was okay but definitely not great. There were quite a few small details around the house that were broken or damaged. The small toilet and bathroom which is located upstairs had a shower head which was slightly broken. The toilet cistern wasn't properly connected to the wall. There was chipped paint and other small signs of damage around the house.

Close proximity to shops and great dog walks nearby Property was tidy and spacious enough for us as a family and 2 dogs Garden was fully closed so dogs were fine in the back garden

A lot of spiders ( time of year lol) the sofas weren’t as comfortable as could of been Dogs next door barked all day

Lovely cosy little home had all the necessities for a week away

I mean there isn't really much not to like but if I had to pick , black out curtains in the front bedroom because it gets very light in there early in the morning

Central location so not far to travel to anywhere we wanted to go.

The house had a horrible smell when we went in which turned out to be a sopping wet mouldy towel in the bathroom under the washing basket, the sofa was very uncomfortable you could feel the springs, the house was not inviting it just felt like a house that someone had packed up ready to sell, and also I am sure someone may of come into the house when we went out as the number on the key safe was different to what I had set it to.

The house is a good size for a family, with a lovely garden. It was well positioned to get out and about on the Island. Being on a residential street we thought it might be noisy but it was quiet and parking was easy. Definitely worth booking.
