Hyper-central Newquay, sleeps 3

Location, in the town and on the beach. We were lucky to arrive on the weekend of the town festival.

Having to climb three flights of stairs. We were situated on the top floor, and being in our late sixties found the stairs very difficult.

Good Central location to town, easy to find and access.

Sofa was covered in crumbs as well as the floor. The paint on the ceiling is peeling off and chipping but this is being re done at the end of the season. The sofa bed does not come with any sort of mattress topper/protector so you are sleeping straight on the bed part. Parts of the bedding also had stains on. In the photos shown online it came with hand towels as well as big towels. We only had 1 hand towel- if we knew this before we would have brought more with us. I phoned the property owner after my family member already phoned due to my phone not having any signal and was told that only 1 hand towel and no mattress topper is provided. Entrance hallway does also have a strange smell but may just be from one of the other flats. Overall good location but the other parts let it down.

Lovely apartment. Plenty of pots, pans & cutlery. Took a while to get used to an electric cooker but once sorted had no problems. Comfy beds with plenty of bed linen.

My Mrs & daughter were fine but, me, being a stick walking wounded veteran found it a long steep trek to the 3rd floor. After a long day out & about in the town. Other that that minor gripe everything else was just great.
