Good location. Stunning views.

A bit dated and food is very microwavable. Book ahead in St Johns if you can. The room as you enter is full of candles which gives a creepy vibe

The hotel was conveniently located for me for a family visit. Its position by the river was nice, and I was able to walk to New Galloway over fields. It was possible to sit and eat on the terrace in the evenings. Tatiana was charming.

I felt the hotel was overpriced and that the rooms were in need of refurbishment. There was nowhere in the room for me to put my clothes, and there was a dangerous step into the bathroom.

Great location. Very scenic. Were made to feel very welcome by the hosts who were also very attentive. Nice breakfast too.

Absolutely the worst place we’ve booked using booking.com. Fortunately we were able to make alternative arrangements and didn’t stay.

Great quirky hotel. Tatiana the host was very welcoming and was always there with a smile for breakfast and evening meal. I will be back when the weathers better
