House was spotless, good range of utensils in the kitchen including tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice big bathroom. Very comfortable beds and nice quality linen. Good location for what I needed. Street is very quiet and no noise from neighbours etc. Near to Lidl and Morrisons is a bonus.

VERY steep stairs was an issue which wasn’t clearly advised in the description. Mould in the living room and behind sofa which was fine in summer as window opened but definitely needs fixing. Towels left on beds rolled up were clean but still damp. Soap in bathroom dispenser watered down and unusable. Plug in shower/bath drained so slowly we had to wait between showers.

Not much! The property is not in the city centre but approx 4 miles away. Owner gave us flowers and cupcakes when told my daughter was getting married that day and we told her of the issues, however completely ignored all requests for some form of recompense. I would not have left this negative review if they had had the decency to get back to me.

Unable to use bathroom sink because of leak - had to use bath taps to brush teeth and wash. Someone else’s washing was left in washing machine our whole stay, previous guest’s recycling left in kitchen bin, smelly mould on wall behind settee and rubbish on the floor, very dusty and not particularly clean, batteries left under bed (baby and young child were staying in the property and could have found them), screws and earrings on mantelpiece on arrival, uncomfortable chairs and settee, no cot as requested.

The location was ideal for visiting the university of Birmingham for an event.

The house was not very comfortable. The seating in the lounge were not comfortable and very squashed together 4 of us could not comfortable sit together in the lounge. The beds were not comfortable with flat pillows. There are lots of steps going into rooms and the steps to upstairs were very steep. The property was not very clean and we found a used tampon under the bed! the bath had not been cleaned. the towels were wet and unusable and whilst there was some hand soap in the bathroom it was watered down. the bath had not been cleaned and there was scum near the drain. the rubbish outside was due to a recent strike from the bin men so can not comment on how the outside usually looks.

Arranged early check in for 2 pm, arrived at the property with no instructions on how to open lock box for the key. Numerous unanswered phone calls and messages to host. Eventually got back to us at 330 pm. House has rising damp problems plaster falling from walls, chairs and couch uncomfortable.

The place was nice clean and had everything you need. The process for check in was smooth and had no issues at all during the stay.

Stairs are a bit tricky. You have to be very careful going up or down. Is hard for elderly people to use.
