Location, location, location! View from the terrace is stunning. Facilities inside the apartment are OK for a week stay for a couple with a dog :-) Yes! This is a pet friendly place! And of course, Giovanni, The Host, needs a special 5* rating as he was helpful with dinner recommendations or any other questions we have had. Great value for money over all! :-)

It was all charming and the location made one feel like a native in Como. The drive to the property needs mastering as part of Italian life. We loved being away from tourists yet a short adventurous walk to the funicular that takes you to the center of Como. If you feel adventurous drive into the hills to Restaurant Sole In the middle of the hills the food was amazing a litre of red wine under 10 Euros and the veal stew was fabulous. Upgrading the electrics at the villa and the kitchen would be a plus but we loved the experience

Giovanni and Leonardo are fabulous hosts . The house had everything from coffee machine , kettle , microwave , fridge , cook top , two spacious bedrooms , dining/lounge room and a balcony that had the most incredible view of the swiss alps , the bedrooms had amazing views of como and the lake . The funicular is close to the accomadation which is only 6.6 euro for a round trip to Como . Accomadation comes with a lock up parking space which is spacious . Only negative is the streets of Brunate ...very narrow .

It feels like stepping into a Time Machine. The house is further spacious with 3 bedrooms. Last but not least the huge lake-facing balcony is where we spent most time.

Not a flaw of the house but we decide to park the car in the city Como, as the street going up is narrow and steep. The house is not far from the funicular (and that can get crowded as it gets) which works just fine for us.

Beautiful home in Brunate, easy to reach Come by funicular. The view was amazing! And the host Giovanni was very friendly!

While the house is a little challenging to get to, it really is exceptional in its view and having such a large space to yourself with a huge Veranda overlooking the lake. The host Giovanni was just great

It was just a little challenging to get to it with the winding narrow road but very worth the journey.

We had the smaller apartment on the upper floor. It was indeed like traveling back in time. When you enter the apartment, you have a feeling that you have found yourself in the beginning of the twentieth century: the building, the furniture, the lights, the decorations... And it was a very special experience. In addition to that, the view from the terrace is fantastic! Of course, the age of the villa is visible. In my country, they say that time has sharp teeth. But so far, this makes the apartment even more charming. All my family was fascinated.
