Hotel Atlanta - A Seaview Hotel

Its was a good stay. Neat and clean very near to cellular jail 5 min walk.

Location is close to cellular jail, nice to walk around and overall the room was clean and had a great view of the ocean.

Check out time is weird. 9 AM checkout is unacceptable for a hotel in an island. No elevators up to your room. Also, the hotel does not allow outside food. Why can’t someone order Swiggy/doordash into their room? Strange policy to force people into ordering food from their restaurant downstairs. The options in that restaurant are limited for vegans/vegetarians. Also no juices or cold drinks considering it’s a humid area.

The view from our room was outstanding. the property is centrally located and hence was easy to walk to the cellular jail and also get transport to other places. The property is clean and well maintained. The restaurant (incl bfast) was good, air conditioned. Staff at restaurant was very helpful and courteous. we wanted food with less oil and they did a very good job of it.

The restaurant menu is was limited (esp bfast). The entrance to the hotel is small and can easily be missed. No great porch or experience. the biggest downside is that there is no lift so you need to walk up to the relevant floor on which your room is. Even checkin is on 1st floor

Breakfast was served in their restaurant Coastal and it was good. Location is superb with full Sea View and cellular jail at a stone throwaway distance.

Location and value for money

Food can be better

As per room type “Family Room”, We got two beds and decent enough for 3 persons to sleep. Staff was at service when required.

Deeply disappointed with the breakfast, very limited options and that too not freshly served. No lift available so we had to use stairs to go second floor. It sucks when we go on and off in a day. Materials used in Family room is not so great and are very cheap and does not look good to stay.
