There is some rooms with balcony

the room is spacious and well furnished. The view on the sea is great

We asked for pickup from the ferry but they forgot and we had to wait 40 minutes after few phonecalls. international credit cards were not accepted (we tried with different ones) There is no elevator

We loved our stay. Its a great location close to Aberdeen Pier for boats to Ross Island and close to shops. The staff were very helpful and friendly and helped with our laundry and boat trip. The food next door was delicious and the room was comfortable with a great view over the sea.

Breakfast buffet could do with a few more options but still good. Black out curtains would also be useful.

No lift and had to climb 3 floors, which was ok for me, but consider this while booking

The wasn’t as described in Booking.com in fact is wasn’t the Square Inn at all. It was the Fly Inn which was undergoing renovations.

It wasn’t as advertised. There was basically no restaurant, no fitness centre and no wellness centre. These was all advertised on booking.com and did not exist.
