Desa Air Hot Springs & Glamping

I stayed here for three nights, and it truly felt like a magical place for so many reasons. The accommodation — a beautiful tent with a private hot tub and open-air bathroom — offers all the comfort and atmosphere you could wish for. On one side, you have the serene Lake Batur, and on the other, breathtaking views of Mount Batur right from the tent and hot tub. The energy around this place is peaceful and calming, and as a backpacker traveling around Bali, I was really able to recharge here. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and I even did the sunrise hike up Mount Batur with Rata, which was an unforgettable experience. It honestly felt like spending time with friends, and I’m genuinely sad to leave. Out of all the places I’ve stayed during my travels in Bali, this has been my absolute favorite. I can’t recommend it enough!

It was well thought out with the glamping idea, however with just a fan in the heat of the day in a tent, flies and ants bugs in bathroom, for the price might as well get a aircon room, I was suppose to be here 2 nights but made a mistake in bookings so was only one night, glad for that. Facilities are fine it’s a cool idea, just remember you are camping in a tent, be awesome if you could open the doors for airflow but flies during the day, they sleep at night, but still was other wee things I noticed on the bed, I didn’t really enjoy my stay tbh was awoken also 3.30 with the tours going up for sunrise trek, noisy as, I got up at 7.30 and hiked up in my own,1hr30 up, 40mins running down, hardly a soul up there and coming down saw no one,

Nous étions très heureux de séjourner sous la tente une nuit avec nos 4 enfants qui ont beaucoup apprécié le bain chaud devant la tente ! Le personnel est très sympa et les tentes confortables avec une belle salle de bain extérieure ! Le jardin est bien entretenu est c’est très agréable d’y séjourner ! Nous avons trouvé que le lieu était mieux que ce que l’on avait perçu sur les photos, super rapport qualité prix ( sauf pour l’extra bed cher payé).

Il y a beaucoup de mouches le matin … mais vraiment beaucoup beaucoup … pour cette raison, nous étions contents de rester qu’une seule nuit ( sinon on aurait bien prolongé) ! Par ailleurs, le petit dej est bon mais pas énormément de choix. Par ailleurs, il faut être véhiculé pour visiter les sites aux alentours !

It was great value for money, the view and the outdoor bathroom were highlights as was the private hot tub.

Not their fault at all - but be prepared for the flies! Some milk or creamer for the coffee would be great (I would be happy to pay extra). Bicycles to get around would allow people to stay longer and enjoy the area. Information translated for the staff and guests would help as none of the staff spoke much English and communication was very challenging. Need a better process for ordering breakfast (perhaps online request option).
