Beautiful location and gardens, lovely staff

There is a lot of noise from the nearby bar and the lights on the kitchen into the tent at night making it a little bright

We will definitely be back to Desa Air. We loved the thermal bath in our garden with views of the volcano, we used it twice. The bed was so comfortable and we were walking distance to the lake to watch sunrise. Loved the Nutella toastie and French press coffee we got for included breakfast. Thank you for welcoming us to this magical place

The property is in a good position. Easy to walk to restaurants and explore the lake. Only four tents, each one with its own hot springs pool. The tent was very clean.

We did not have a good stay. The water in our shower and sink kept going off and the hot springs pool was leaking. The staff did not really care so we stuffed the plug hole full of tissue to get the water to stay in. The next day we asked to move for our second night and were told that was ok but we couldn’t use the shower or pool in the morning until we checked out so they could mend it for the next guests. They made no effort to accommodate us so we could move, cleaning the room we were leaving first. We had to wait until mid afternoon to get into our new tent. We had to use the hot springs at another venue and when we came back at 3pm, soaking because it was pouring with rain, we had no towels, the excuse being that it was raining. They finally arrived at 4pm. We decided to leave. Breakfast was a peanut butter and Nutella toastie. Flies are horrendous especially in the outside bathroom. No fly spray provided, we had to go and buy some. Also nowhere to hang your wet stuff to drip/ dry after being in the pool. This place has the potential to be great but it was not our experience at all. We were made to feel like a nuisance. I have had much better glamping experiences in Bali for less money.

The only thing that it was annoying was the shower, not enough water coming through and not hot enough ( it gets cold in Mt Batur). Apart from that, we had an amaxing stay and the place is very nice

We had a wonderful stay at Desa Air Hot Springs & Glamping! The location is perfect — just a short walk from the lake and very close to the starting point of the Mount Batur sunrise trek. Ideal for nature lovers and adventurers! Our host, Rata, was incredibly kind and attentive. She made sure everything was taken care of and truly went out of her way to make us feel at home. The sunrise hike to Batur, which she personally organized, was an unforgettable experience — breathtaking views and a smooth, well-guided trip. The tents were clean and charming, with a beautiful natural setting all around. Having the hot springs right outside the tent made it even more special. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Batur area!

If I had to mention any downsides: there were quite a lot of flies during the day, and at night, some traffic noise from the nearby road could be heard. Still, it didn’t overshadow the beauty and calm of the overall experience.
